Victorian Seniors Card holders are eligible for free travel on public transport across the State
during the 2022 Victorian Seniors Festival. The 2022 festival will be held from Sunday 2 October
to Sunday 9 October 2022.
How to travel:
Victorian Seniors Card holders must always carry their Seniors myki and Victorian Seniors Card
when travelling during the Victorian Seniors Festival.
Victorian Seniors are required to touch on and off as usual – fares during this period will not be
deducted.
On regional services that don’t use myki, Seniors must show their Victorian Seniors Card to the
driver when they board as proof of eligibility for free travel.
Where to travel:
Victorian Seniors will be able to travel for free on most public transport in Victoria, including:
• Melbourne trains, trams and buses
• Regional trains, coaches and buses (including intertown and regional town bus services)
Free travel is limited to trips solely within Victoria. Airport buses and privately-run services
(unsubsidised services) are excluded from this offering.
NOTE: Seniors from other Australian States and Territories are not eligible for free travel during
this period. Normal concession fares apply.
