Female Bus Driver Jobs

A new local transport initiative at our Wyndham depot has created some exciting opportunities for women who are looking to work as bus drivers with both full time and part-time opportunities available.

In a part-time role, your roster will generally have shorter shifts or fewer working days. The full-time role may be more suitable if you have more availability and seek a greater income. Both the opportunities have the option for regular overtime.

What are the perks?

What do we need?

1. You should have a Medium-Rigid (MR) or a Heavy-Rigid (HR) driver’s license
2. Some relevant bus driving experience (additional training can be provided on the job)
3. You should be reliable, customer-focused and committed to learn

These roles would appeal to charter bus drivers or ride-share drivers who have heavy vehicle licenses and experience in the bus industry and a strong customer focus.

Why are we hiring female bus drivers?

At CDC Victoria we aim to break down gender barriers to employment in the transport industry by growing female participation in our workforce. CDC Victoria has committed to bringing in more female employees into the transport industry as part of a broader strategy led by the Department of Transport’s Women in Transport program.
