Fifteen years ago, a vision was born. A vision of a community where efficiency and safety are at the heart of everything we do. A vision that would not only serve today’s needs but also build a brighter future for all of us.
In 2009, ComfortDelGro acquired Kefford Corporation, bringing together Eastrans, Westrans, Davis Bus Lines, and Benders, which became CDC Victoria. And that’s where our journey began — changing the transport landscape of Victoria.
Since then, we’ve grown in ways we never could have imagined. From opening new depots, acquiring routes and fleets, to expanding across the state, each milestone has brought us closer to our goal: connecting people, places, and communities.
- In 2012, we opened a new depot in Oakleigh.
- In 2013, we expanded with 5 new routes and 42 buses from the Driver Group.
- In 2014, Benders Busways rebranded to CDC Geelong.
- In 2018, we moved to a state-of-the-art facility in Wyndham.
- In 2019, we introduced 33 Hybrid Buses, becoming the largest hybrid fleet in the state.
- In 2022, we welcomed our first Electric Bus and marked our 50th Hybrid Bus milestone.
And today, CDC Victoria celebrates 15 successful years of connecting people and communities across Victoria.
This milestone wouldn’t be possible without our amazing community partners, like the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, Werribee Football Club, Fruit2Work, Parks Victoria, Western Chances, and The Salvation Army, among others
The bus wrap we’ve launched is more than just a design — it’s a symbol of everything we stand for:

Through challenges and triumphs, we’ve built something truly remarkable together. From our first steps to our biggest milestones, we’ve remained dedicated to our mission: safe, reliable, and sustainable transport for all Victorians.
