CDC Victoria is proud to support the Victorian Government’s plan and deliver new and expanded bus services across Melbourne’s growing outer west. Starting 7 December 2025, we will operate three upgraded routes, adding more than 1,500 extra weekly services to better connect local communities with schools, jobs, shopping centres, and train stations.
What’s Changing?
- Route 154 (Tarneit – Truganina – Laverton) Over 728 weekly services will link more than 7,600 homes to schools and shopping precincts, with buses running every 20 minutes during peak times.
- Route 194 (Wyndham Vale – Mambourin – Harpley Estate) With 463 weekly services, this new route will provide the first local bus connection for Cornerstone, Mambourin, and Harpley Estate, linking directly to Wyndham Vale Station and Walcom Ngarrwa Secondary College.
- Route 153 Upgrade (Werribee – Wyndham Vale) An additional 400 weekly services and extended operating hours will improve access to key destinations, including Werribee Hospital, Wyndham Law Courts, and local university campuses.

These improvements follow the introduction of 470 extra bus services across Melbourne’s west in July, including on routes 170, 180, 190 and 192.
Serving Our Communities
These new services are designed to make everyday journeys easier, whether it’s getting to work, attending school, visiting healthcare facilities, or connecting with friends and family.
We are proud to play our part in supporting the Victorian Government’s investment in public transport and in strengthening the bus network for one of the fastest-growing regions in the state.
Looking Ahead
Our drivers, depot teams, and support staff are ready to welcome passengers on board these new services. We look forward to continuing to serve our communities and helping make travel across Melbourne’s west more convenient and connected.
