With a new Ballarat network launching from 29th January 2017, the Ballarat bus network will see improved frequency on selected routes, with services operating every 30 minutes.

Under the new network, there will be improved access to Federation University Mount Helen campus with routes 21 & 22 servicing this destination.

With improved coordination with trains, the new network will also provide expansion of service coverage into urban growth areas previously unserviced by public transport.

There will also be a new route numbering system designed to make finding services on the PTV Journey Planner and PTV app faster and simpler. Please refer to the Ballarat timetable page for old vs new route changes.

All buses will operate via Ballarat Station (except Route 31, which terminates at Wendouree Station).
