The health, safety and well-being of our team, customers and the community is our top priority.
We pursue excellence in all we do, daily. Our customers can rely on us to deliver excellent service quality and recognise us as leaders in the industry.
We offer outstanding services that delivers premium value to our customers and clients, and we always strive to improve all that we do.
We are committed to operational excellence, superior customer service, engaging the community we serve, being known as a great organisation to work in, and providing high shareholder value.
As providers of an essential public service, we take pride in providing a unique offering by being an economic, community-driven social asset to every community in which we do business.
We are proud to be a community partner of the Western Bulldogs, and in particular The Whitten Project, which is a unique education program designed to provide young aspiring community leaders experiences to develop life, civic and employability skills.
Our strategic partnership with The Whitten Project involves sponsorship of the project as well as a hands-on role that allows CDC Victoria to interact directly with students, to educate and promote good behaviour within our community.
Through various charity initiatives, such as a Bicycle Challenge and Christmas Toy Drive, CDC Victoria raises funds for our official Charity Partner, the Brotherhood of St Lawrence.
CDC Victoria has also donated a bus to the Brotherhood – which will serve as a One-stop Mobile Career Bus to help the community with a range of employment activities, including resume writing and interview practice booths, as well as operating a mobile op shop for those in need.
CDC Victoria has partnered with the VMWI since May 2014, who, with the support of Public Transport Victoria, aim to provide guidance and leadership to Maori youth. Their work involves uniformed patrol of CDC buses to engage with youth groups in order to promote good behaviour on board our buses.
CDC Victoria is proud to be the sponsor of two CDC Victoria Achievement Scholarships, via Victoria University.
The CDC Victoria Achievement Scholarships offer strong educational support to enable students at Victoria University in need to achieve their goals and make a difference in society.
Once a small, grass roots organisation providing a handful of scholarships, Western Chances now raises nearly $1 million a year to help talented and motived young people across Melbourne’s west to achieve their dreams by providing funding for small items that have a big impact. These items include textbook and tuition fees, laptops and internet access and maths calculators.
CDC Victoria helps fund myki cards for scholars in need, which are one of the highest items requested by students.
CDC Victoria is now a Community & Transport Partner of one of the fastest growing VFL teams in Victoria, the Werribee Football Club (WFC).
As part of our community engagement, partnering with Werribee Football club will create more opportunities for CDC Victoria to work closely within the local Wyndham community while working towards alleviating anti-social behaviour that affects all our businesses. We are also committed to giving back to our youth and engage in Werribee Football club’s well-established multicultural programs and school initiatives.
